Darnitha

Darnitha D. Johnson is a domestic violence advocate, a referral specialist, and a notary public. Her medical training and work experience as a CNA/LPN, Phlebotomist helps her evaluate situations which may become even more dangerous. Darnitha attended Taylor College, College of Central Florida, and Florida Atlantic University. She is able to assist victims with the detailed process of filing restraining orders as well as accompanying victims at court hearings.
She has contacts at Community Outreach Services, Royal Queens Women Empowerment, and Operation Blankets and Socks. She never stops
helping her victims and has been award many citations for her successful outreach to aid domestic violence victims, including the Mayor's Certificate of Appreciation, Florida Commission on the Status of Women, Ocala Police Department Citizen Citation Award, Ollin Women Peace Awards, Exceptional Woman of Peace, Founders Award, and the Domestic Violence Conqueror Award.
Darnitha offers advice, empathy, and hope to victims. Her background and experience provide information and solutions for victims. Safety and processing legal issues can be overwhelming and Darnitha can coordinate answers by helping you understand the issues. Information and focus on improving education, employment, housing, child care, and therapy can encourage and support success in breaking the bonds of domestic violence. Darnitha is an advocate and provides stability in the time of turmoil.
Rebecca

Rebecca Ward-Williams is a trauma-informed domestic violence advocate, mentor, and support specialist dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and complex childhood trauma. She combines lived experience with professional advocacy work to guide individuals through early steps toward safety and stability, including assisting clients with processes such as filing restraining orders and understanding initial legal protections. Her work focuses on empowerment, education, and helping survivors transition from crisis to long-term healing and purpose.
Her professional background spans diverse fields, including previous work as a radio personality, holding a third-class broadcasting license, an assistant horse trainer, a veterinary technician, an equine farm manager, and a foaling specialist, reflecting a strong foundation in responsibility and high-pressure environments. She holds degrees in photojournalism, psychology [Cecil College, Northeast, Md], and paralegal studies, along with four Homeland Security certificates [College of Central Florida, Ocala]. She is continuing her education in law while furthering her studies in psychology by pursuing a degree in trauma-informed therapy, while integrating legal, psychological, and experiential knowledge to deepen her advocacy and mentoring work.
